Thirteen1, the independent online-based games magazine, has just released it's entirely free-to-read July 13th edition. On time as always - 13th of the month, 1pm.
This issue has the T1 team zapping ghosts and ghouls as they review the most anticipated release of the year in Ghostbusters, sticking the middle finger up at gravity with Dejobaan's free-falling "Aaaaa" and trudging through the wastelands with Point Lookout – the latest Fallout DLC.
Omerta has gotten in on the act too, finally releasing Version 3 after 2 years of development. To celebrate, there's a giveaway in the mag to get you started on the road to becoming a top gangster.
The infamous Drunken Gamer has been given a power-trip this month, with Thirteen1 (perhaps a little foolishly) handing him all of the minion-controlling based games. Maple Story Mesos, That's right - the drunken, tyrannical, power-tripping gamer got to command minions in Overlord II and an entire city in the Cities XL beta!
So he likes a bit of strategy, what could go wrong?...
There are plenty of Q&A's to keep you happy this month too, as Thirteen1 catches up with the guys behind Fairytale Fights, Huxley – mainly to figure out why it's taking so damn long – and even celebrity/top lyricist Scroobius Pip (one half of Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip). Turns out he's as big on games as he is music.
Throw in an exclusive Magic Road Online giveaway, the ever-present retro goodness and rants on everything gaming from the T1 team and readers, and you've got another top issue of Thirteen1 to clamp your eyes on.
Free Comps and Giveaways!
As always, there are load of top-gaming goodies to be won too!
