Competition for yew logs and the speed at which yews are cut are very low. It is suggested that you cut willows for a while after 60, or you won’t be able to cut MapleStory Mesos yews quickly.
You can also switch to yews at 75, but your willow cutting speed will rack in a lot of experience. Many high level woodcutters train all willows because of the speed.
Requirements: To enter the Ranging Guild, you must have at least 40 ranging. You can use special items to give you a temporary boost so that you can enter at an earlier level, though:
Ranged Potion (+15%)
Geyser Titans (1 + 3%)
Note that potion effects do not stack.
